Integrated Design Two components emphasized the interplay between architecture and interior space, perceiving interior spaces as studies in light, color, texture, and volume relative to human scale.
Located in Ypsilanti, Michigan, the Peninsular Paper Company served as the focal point of our project. We were tasked with transforming the building into a multifaceted space, encompassing a performance venue, a visual area, a terrace, a food service area, and various additional amenities
In collaboration with two colleagues, our design prioritized maximizing southern exposure, allowing natural light to permeate the entire structure while preserving the building's historical significance and creating a visually engaging connection with the river.
Programs Used: Rhino | Photoshop | illustrator
Materials from the Marcel Breuer Library were extracted and manipulated by Photoshop, then applied to the building's interior in various places.
