This studio focuses on the relationship between architecture and the public sphere: the varied, changing, and complex ways in which architecture influences and is influenced by people and public life, and the public sphere.
Through phase one a comprehensive body of knowledge has been accumulated, documenting both the external and internal ecologies that will serve as the foundation for the design proposals in Works three and four. The final project is an urban nursery community hub in Morningside, Detroit.
