Advanced Visual Communication is a freshman studio that utilizes a hybrid of digital and physical tools in the analytical representation of existing works of architecture.
My two teammates and I used The Kimbell Art Museum designed by Louis Khan as a case study in this project to understand the relationship between sculptural elements in the museum: from the colossal and grand cycloid vaulted ceilings to the sparing
usage of materials to the calming diffused light that illuminates the interior spaces.
